A Review of the Honda Cbf125

This motorcycle model has been acquired by a large number of bikers since it was introduced in January. Most dealers though, complained that they were not able to source the bikes fast enough. As per the price of the heralded CG125, the Honda CBF125 is a basement substitute.

The bike runs on a 4-speed single engine with a 124.7cc fuel injection. The engine is designed in a manner to deliver fuel efficiency, which is opposed to its excitement. It can be used on a motorway, but not on a regular basis as its top speed is 65mph. The model offers 1 more bhp than its nearest competitor, Yamaha YR125 thus it has 11bhp. Honesty, there is nothing that separates the performance of these two bikes by Yamaha.

The Ride and Handling

The bike has single brake disk, on the front and rear drum thus offering satisfactory handling. On lengthier journeys, you will suffer from rear end pains because of the cheap twin rear shocks specifically on motorways but on short 30 minute rides, it offers a lot of comfort as virtually any motorbike. When switching between accelerating and slowing down is start/stop traffic queues, you get a ricking horse sensation.

Its Quality and Dependability

For a motorbike that comes at such a low cost, it is obvious that there will be a few imperfections here and there. For instance, most customers have forwarded complains criticizing the workmanship on the matt black finish. On top of that, its exhaust does not appear fit for longevity. It has fragile grommets and its plastics are weak.

The bike’s Equipment

The bike comes with a round speedometer dial which indicates the gear that you ought to be in, rather than having the very common rev counter. Despite this though, there is a faulty fuel gauge which when you begin with a full tank, you will have a third remaining and the gauge will be displaying a half.

The Verdict of the honda cbf125 review

The motorbike’s aesthetics are generally pleasing and from a reputable brand too. It comes at a pocket-friendly cost to operate than taking the bus. It has been described as fun and at a price of just over £2000.00, it just might be the only transport you ever need.
